The 18-piece Beantown Swing Orchestra - featuring American Idol finalists John Stevens, Siobhan Magnus, and Erika Van Pelt, semifinalist Jen Hirsh, and jazz vocalist Laura Brunner - represents the future of big band swing music. Specializing in the performance of vintage Swing Era and Sinatra classics as well as popular and original songs custom arranged for big band, its mission is to bring big band music back into the mainstream for future generations to enjoy.

Now in its eighth year, the Beantown Swing Orchestra is available for classy weddings and galas where it is important to get all ages onto the dance floor. It also performs concerts and offers school assemblies with the goal of engaging, entertaining, and educating audiences with this historically significant and most sophisticated form of American music ever created.
