LIVE AUDIO RECORDINGS

Both above and below are audio taken from a live recording of the band playing at a wedding reception at the Barn at Gibbet Hill in Groton, Mass. on September 16, 2007. The audio is live to digital 2-track with no mixing, EQ, or any other form of editing or processing. In other words, we just put a microphone in front of the band and pressed the record button, so what you hear is exactly what it would sound like if you were standing right there. Don't be fooled by other bands whose demos were recorded in the studio and heavily processed, or even those that were recorded live but into a mixing console. We're the real thing - we don't hide our mistakes, and we balance our own music by playing louder or softer (rather than being at the mercy of the sound guy with the mixer).

At this wedding reception, we played two sets of 16 songs per set. The first set was during dinner, and we set the mood with relaxed tunes for slow or easy dancing. The second set featured more driving, uptempo arrangements because the bride and groom really wanted their guests to party it up on the dance floor, and they sure did!
