The Beantown Swing Orchestra represents the future of big band music. Specializing in the performance of Swing Era classics as well as current songs custom arranged for big band, its mission is to bring this music back into the mainstream for current and future generations to enjoy.

Now in its twelfth year, the Beantown Swing Orchestra is available for classy galas and weddings where it is important to get all ages onto the dance floor. It also performs concerts and offers school programs with the goal of engaging, entertaining, and educating audiences with this historically significant and most sophisticated form of American music ever created.

  • Our 9-piece band performing this Saturday 2-4pm for first annual Amesbury Pines Music Festival in a restored 1930s bandstand!

    Beginning at noon on July 1st during this year’s Amesbury Days, we invite you to step back in time as the 16 piece @[104025574859:274:New England Brass Band] will join us for this inaugural performance on Amesbury's recently restored Bandstand in the Pines, bringing back some of the original 1920's and 30's musical performances a Bandstand like ours was built for!

At 2PM we'll travel to the 30's & 40's with the @[8093253977:274:Beantown Swing Orchestra], specializing in the performance of Swing era classics.

At 4PM you'll be transported to the 50's & 60's with Jazz & Blues quartet @[200220636810951:274:Cuppa Joe]! 

And at 6pm, we'll close the show in modern times with @[1164218036980475:274:The Sustain], the North Shore's premiere Rock Cover Band!

And it wouldn't be a festival without Food and Drink!
